Prince Tribute Exhibit at Philly Art Collective Gallery

My Purple Rain piece (micron pen and copic marker) was selected and displayed at a one day exhibition featuring local artists. The event had over 10k interested/attending via Facebook and was a huge success.

From the event description:

Prince Rogers Nelson (June 7, 1958 – April 21, 2016) was an American musician, singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer, actor, and filmmaker. With a career spanning five decades, Prince was known for his electric work and flamboyant stage appearances. He was also a multi-instrumentalist and regarded as a guitar virtuoso.Prince was also known for his very wide and extensive vocal range, in particular his far reaching falsetto and high pitched screams. His innovative music integrated a wide variety of styles, including funk, rock, R&B, new wave, soul, psychedelia, and pop.
